Shakira sustituiría a Jennifer Lopez como jueza en American Idol

Parece ser que Shakira, quien en los últimos años ha visto dispararse su fama en los Estados Unidos, está cerca de convertirse además en un icono televisivo en el país de las barras y las estrellas. Según la web popeater.com, la productora de American Idol se está planteando la posibilidad de sustituir a Jennifer Lopez, actual juez del programa, por la colombiana.

La decisión estaría motivada por el descontento que J-Lo ha mostrado respecto a su salario, muy inferior al de otros jueces, que podría significar su salida del programa de cara a la próxima temporada. Así, Shakira vendría a aportar ese toque latino que tanto gusta a la audiencia norteamericana.



El ex baterista de The Smiths, Mike Joyce, criticó a Morrissey luego que éste interpretara canciones de la banda que lideró, durante su presentación en el festival de Glastonbury.
A través de su cuenta de Twitter, Joyce escribió "gran presentación de M en Glastonbury, pero no me gustaron los covers. M era parte del grupo, pero no es la banda, y esas canciones les pertenecen a ellos".
Morrissey interpretó cinco canciones del grupo, entre las que se incluyeron "This Charming Man" y "Meat is Murder".

La revista "In Touch Weekly" ha recibido unas declaraciones de una fuente anónima cercana a la cantante que habla de un día de grabación: "Christina no saludó al público. Salió del camerino tres minutos antes del comienzo del programa y tenía un humor de perros. Durante las pausas publicitarias seis personas le arreglaban el vestuario, todas con una camiseta rosa y negra que decía ''Team Xtina''. Después, otra persona le llevó una botella de agua y se la sostenía mientras ella bebía".
