Boys & Girls Club of America — For more than 150 years, the Boys & Girls Club of America has provided a safe place for children to learn and grow in a safe environment that fosters confidence and companionship. 

Children's Hospital Los Angeles — This hospital is the first and largest pediatric hospital in Southern California with an unmatched dedication to pediatric health care. It is one medical center that is very near and dear to my heart and inspires the work I do with the Lopez Family Foundation.

This was Veneno’s first time shooting Forbes’ “Most Powerful Star” and it was a truly beautiful experience. Our show opener video featured Jennifer Lopez on a set inspired by Old Hollywood glamour in a piece that combined choreography (thank you Miss Liz Imperio), classically styled and lit beauty shots and fabulous costumes by Zuhair Murad. Ms. Lopez was stunning and such fun to work with!

 As Hurricane Sandy approaches, our thoughts are with those in the path of the storm and we hope that you, your family and friends are safe. HERE’S HOW YOU CAN GET HELP NOW. For hurricane preparedness tips, you can download our HURRICANE APP to your smart phone, or click HERE to view them online.

Hurricane Sandy continues to move toward the Northeast, with hurricane-force winds extending more than 100 miles per hour from the center.  States of emergency have been declared so far in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Washington, D.C., Maryland and Virginia. Thousands of flights have been cancelled. In New York City, public transportation has been closed and bridges may close as well depending on wind strength.  Hurricane Sandy has already caused the cancellation of around 100 American Red Cross blood drives and more cancellations are expected as the storm continues to hit the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast.

With the support of our partners and volunteers, so far we’ve:

 *   Opened 112 shelters in 9 states serving 3,200 people

*   Mobilized nearly 170 Emergency Response Vehicles to move at a moment’s notice

*   Secured more than 230,000 shelf-stable meals

*   Readied thousands of supplies such as cots, comfort kits and clean up kits 

You can stand with us and help the families and individuals impacted by Sandy, and thousands of disasters across the country each year, by making a donation to AMERICAN RED CROSS DISASTER RELIEF.

Jennifer Lopez is one of Hollywood’s biggest triple threats, and the pop megastar, “American Idol” judge and People Magazine’s Most Beautiful Person of 2011 is now adding another title to her name: designer.

Lopez just launched her own fashion line at Kohl’s department stores and decided to surprise two of her ultimate fans with an exclusive first look at the fall collection on “Good Morning America.”

With Lopez by their side, Xenia Jannierre, 18, and Emily Montalvo, 19, were given up-close-and-personal style advice from their fashion idol.

Montalvo immediately gravitated toward a long, strapless black dress. ”This is what I like to do with my long dresses; dress it up and wear it for nighttime,” Lopez said. “But also you can wear it with a pair of flip flops and a sweater.”

“And a hat, because you love hats,” Montalvo said.

Jannierre picked out a short, structured, black and gray tweed dress. “This one I wear with a pair of high boots,” Lopez explained. “It’s a super-short dress, if you are confident enough to do that.”

From rompers to faux-fur vests to sparkling jewelry, Jannierre and Montalvo gushed over the pieces.

“J.Lo just loves her diamonds,” Jannierre said. “I’d probably feel like her if I put this on.”

It was an afternoon of playing dress-up, learning the tricks of glamour from their style icon.

“We feel like we are in your closet,” Jannierre gushed.

Lopez and her professional stylists helped them pick a complete outfit. When they came back, dressed to the “nines,” the young women were full of confidence and savvy.

“It’s classic J.Lo,” said Mariela, one of Lopez’s stylists. “The light tones, the sparkles, the faux fur, the bags, the boots … the tons of jewelry.”

Do you like to watch cartoons with your kids?

A perfect day for me is just relaxing and spending the time with my coconuts and family.
Yes, I watch cartoons with my children. I love to lay in bed with them and watch their favorite movies.

What concert on to tour is the most memorable so far? 

The concert in Recife, Brazil was one of my most memorable. It was pouring rain but the fans stayed with me and were so passionate. Their energy was so strong, it made us keep going even though it may not have been safe... I'll never forget that show.

I love all of my songs... they each tell a different story. I couldn't choose just one — that's why you have to come to my show on the DANCE AGAIN WORLD TOUR.
