Jennifer López se ha metido productora. La cantante y actriz producirá una serie basada en la vida de una joven estudiante latina, Lina Molina, en Estados Unidos. La MTV será la encargada de emitir esta comedia, que contará con capítulos de media hora de duración.
Jennifer López, junto con Simon Fields (su socio en la productora Nuyorican Productions) y su manager, Benny Medina, producirá una serie para la MTV. Parece que los latinos y sus formas de vida están de moda en Estados Unidos, y por ello JLO se ha embarcado en un proyecto, que cuenta la historia de una joven estudiante latina, Lina Molina, que se ve obligada a abandonar su hábitat natural -de Nueva York a un suburbio de Texas- para ayudar a su familia mexicana que está en la ruina.
Otra de las que se ha sumado al proyecto es Grace Parra, colaboradora habitual de JLO, quien se encargará del guión, según publica 'The Hollywood Reporter'.
No es el único proyecto que tiene Nuyorican Productions. La productora de Jennifer López acaba de firmar para producir 'South Beach Tow', en truTV; 'Big Easy Justice', en Spike TV; y otra comedia para la FOX, esta vez con el creador de 'Betty la Fea', Silvio Horta.
